Term of Lease

Do major lenders give mortgages on properties with a 74yr lease?

In short, yes.  Whilst some will insist on a period of say 25 or 30 years remaining at the end of the mortgage term, others are looking for a minimum number of years at the start of the mortgage.  The Lloyds Group for instance require a minimum of 70 years.  With 74 years remaining I would not normally expect you to have any trouble getting a mortgage.
