I am currently employed on temp 3 month contracts. I have been for 20 months. My job is safe, and i have this in writing from my manager. Can i get a mortgage? I have a possible guarantor if this will help?
Without knowing the details of the rest of your case it's impossible to say 100% either way, however a temporary contract is not normally a barrier to getting a mortgage. A guarantor is helpful to have, but not essential. If you'd like to let me know the details of what you're looking to achieve, I'll get one of our consultants to talk to you, nad they can give you a better idea of what you can do.
