My credit score is fair and my partner score is good can we get a mortgage?
This a tricky question to answer without knowing the details surrounding yoru personal situation. Things like the Loan To Value (LTV) you are looking for, and other information such as your income, address history and general credit history, are all taken into considertaion when lenders receive an application. Many lenders credit score their applications and it's a very computor driven service, others manually underwrite cases and can judge each one on its individual merits.
On the face of it, a 'fair' credit score shouldn't stop you from getting a mortgage, and the number of cases that we are ever unable to place is very small indeed.
If you'd like a better idea of your options, then I can arrange a convenient time for you to have an initial discussion with one of our consultants. If you would like to do so please let me know and I'll get it organised for you.
More than mortgages, talk to me about:
