Moving upmarket, is a Let To Buy a good option?

Posted on 5 March 2013 by Jon

Dear Sir/Madam. I currently live near Maidstone in Kent and own a property which has been valued at £220k. We have cleared the mortgage and am looking to upsize. We have found a house we like that is £450k our joint income is £85k would a let to buy mortgage be a suitable solution and would we be offered one? Regards, Jon

A Let To Buy mortgage is certainly one option, and from the information supplied I can't see anything obvious that would stop you from doing so.

Your income is good and the Loan To Value's (LTV's) are strong too, so I think that your case should appeal to lenders.

If you'd like to get a more definite idea of what's out there, and what other options there maybe, then please let me know and I'll arrange a convenient time for your to speak to one of our consultants.
