Moving back to the UK and buying a house.

Moving back to the UK and buying a house.

Dear Sir,

We have been living abroad for the last seven years. We sold our houses in the UK when we moved abroad. We now want to move back to the UK and buy a house. We have 60% deposit on a house valued at 230.000GBP. We own a ltd company in Cyprus that is successful and provides us with a sufficient income to cover the mortgage.

We would be looking for around a ten year mortgage period, we are both 50 years of age with no bad credit history.

Regards, David

David,

With the brief details on your enquiry, I think is something that would be able to look at. The low Loan To Value is a positive point, and as John Charcol is an Independent, Whole of Market broker, we regularly deal with those lenders who manually underwrite cases, and therefore judge each application on its merits.

If you'd like to discuss your enquiry in more detail, then please get back to me, and I'll arrange for you to speak with one of our consultants.

Regards,

Simon
