Joint Mortgage with Mother

Posted on 15 March 2011 by Victoria Kain

My boyfriend of 17 years has a joint mortgage with his mother on the house they both live in. He wants off so we can buy and live together. She is 78 years old. What can we do?

Please see my answer to a very similar question below. It is titled Second Property and Mortgage.

Has anyone asked your partner's mother what she wants?
