Income Assessment

My Husbands employer pays wages into my private bank account that he has no access to.  Can this money be taken into account for a mortage application in only my name?

This is a very interesting arrangement and without further information I think it is very unlikely that a Lender would consider using the income to support a mortgage application.

If however, there is a court order or an attachment to earnings in place then the situation changes and depending on the rest of your personal circumstances, the value of the property, the amount of the mortgage you are seeking and your own earned income, a Lender may be willing to look at this.

I recommend that you speak to an independent mortgage broker about the options available to you.
