I am 54 years old and my wife is the same age between the two of us we have a joint income of 65k. We are looking to buy a house to rent and were to to see if we could get a mortgage. We have 60k to put down on a house.
From the brief details in your question, I can't see any reason as to why you wouldn't be able to get a Buy To Let mortgage, depending on you meeting a lenders usual criteria.
John Charcol is an Independent, Whole of Market broker, with access to a diverse range of lenders, which means that age is not usually an issue.
