My Ex Partner and I have a mortgage together, we have been seperated for a while now and he pays our current mortgage with myself and our children living in the property. He nows wants to buy another property and the only way he can do that is to show our property as being rented out. He is claiming that my name will no longer be on the mortgage but will still remain on the deeds. Is this correct and will I lose any of my rights to the property?
This is most certainly incorrect, the mortgage has to include all the people named on the deeds.
