Hi mate I've got ccjs against me and I want a mortgage I've got my own business which is doing really well what is the best option for me mate man regards
It is extremely difficult to get a mortgage at the moment if you have got CCJs registered against you. Your best option is to maintain any other credit you have without missing any payments and without exceeding your credit card or overdraft limit. At the same time you need to build up as big as deposit as possible. If you are currently renting then also make sure you do not miss any rental payments as this help to show any future lender than you are able to maintain a regular monthly commitment towards your housing costs.
Your CCJ's will fall off the back of your credit file 6 years after they were first registered and unless the economic climate changes before then you may have to wait to get a mortgage, but in the mean time please call us on 0344 346 3672 with the full details of your CCJs and we will advise you if there is any chance of securing a mortgage now.
