BTL - Lending Against Freehold

Posted on 27 November 2011 by Adam

I am looking to remortgage a property that I own freehold and split into 5 independent flats, all let on AST's, The flats are each worth about £50k, I am struggling to find a lender prepared to lend on the above, can you help?

There is a small handful of lenders who are willing to lend against the freehold of a block of flats and even fewer who will consider lending at normal BTL rates as opposed to higher commercial rates.

I believe we can help you and that you would benefit from speaking to one of our independent mortgage advisers.  Please call 0344 346 3672 and tell the consultant the date and title of your question, they will then be able to advise you on your situation.
