At 69 & 81 years old can we still get a mortgage?

Posted on 4 March 2013 by Mrs Scott

I am 69yrs old and my husband is 81. We need to move to be near family. With the sell of our home we can raise about £80,000. But we will need another £40.000, can we get some type of morgtage?

Mrs Scott,

Depending on the details of your situation, then 'yes' it may be possible to get you the mortgage to enable you to move home. However, we would need to know a lot more information about the rest of your personal financial situation before we could give you a more definitive answer.

If you'd like to find out more, then please let me know and I'll arrange a convenient time for one of our consultants to contact.

Regards,

Simon
