I am a 44 year old first time buyer. I am a nurse on a permanent contract in the |Nhs in Bournemouth. I wish to buy a one to two bedroom flat and my maximum price range is £120 000. I am aware that it may be possible to buy a flat for less as the market is reasonably good for buyers in the present climate. I have a deposit of £20-25 000. Please could you advise on a suitable mortgage for my price bracket and let me know about any extras I may have to pay eg. administration fees. Many thanks.
John Charcol offer an advice and recommendation service based on each client's individual circumstances and only after conducting a full 'factfind'. The purpose of the 'factfind' is to ascertain not only your personal circumstances, such as income, occupation and residential status, but to also find out what your attitude towards risk is. In this way we can tailor a mortgage solution to you, which may be the cheapest rate available regardless of fees, the mortgage with the best incentives such as a free valuation and cashback, a fixed rate or variable rate mortgage. If you want an idea of the interest rates available these can be found on this website and in the Best Buy tables produced in the weekend papers.
I believe we can help you and that you would benefit from speaking to one of our independent mortgage advisers. Please call 0344 346 3672 and tell the consultant the date and title of your question, they will then be able to advise you on your situation.
