63 and need a 15 year mortgage. Help!

Posted on 27 January 2013 by Angela

I am 63 years old. Where can I get at least a 15year mortgage please?

Angela,

There are still lenders out there who will look to lend you a mortgage over a 15 year term, however they are unlikely to be the major high ones. At John Charcol we have very strong relationships with those lenders who still manually underwrite cases and therefore judge each application on its individual merits.

Without knowing some more details surrounding your circumstances, such as the value of the property, current mortgage (if any) and your income, I cant really say anything more detailed. If you'd like to discuss your enquiry in more detail then please let me know and I'll a convenient time for you to have an initial discussion with one of our consultants.

Regards,

Simon
