Lending in Retirement

Would it be possible to take a mortgage out at 67 years old?  My maisonette is paid for.

Patricia,

In is certainly possible to raise a mortgage when you are aged 67 or older, but the choice of Lender's and type of mortgage are restricted. The final choice will depend on how much you want to borrow, how long you want to borrow it for and your own personal circumstances.

I believe you would benefit from speaking to one of our independent mortgage advisers. Please call on 0344 346 3672 and tell the consultant the date and title of your question. They will be able to look at your situation and advise you accordingly.
