Will a satisfied default over 3 years ago, stop me from doing a Right To Buy?

Right To Buy: Would 1 default 3 years and 2 months ago also satisfied stop me from getting a mortgage?

Donna,

Naturally there's a lot more information that we'd need before being able to give to give you a definite 'yes', but subject to this being the only blemish on your credit file, then I'd be disappointed if this historic adverse item, stopped us from securing the mortgage you need for the Right To Buy.

If you'd like to talk your case through in more detail, then please let me know, and I'll sort a suitable time out for you to talk to one of our consultants.

Regards,

Simon
