Property Rights

My ex left our jointly owned home 4yrs ago. I have been paying the mortgage ever since. He is now forcing the sale of the property which is fine. Is he entitled to 50% equity? Someone once told me I can take my repayments over the last 4yrs off of his half, is this true? How do I go about this?

Pauline,

I have referred your enquiry to our in house solicitors, Rollingsons and you can expect to hear back from them by e mail in the near future.
