Can I sell without 2nd parties signature?

Posted on 5 March 2011 by nikki

I bought a house in 1995 with someone. They left in 1996 they moved away and are married, I have kept property on since then. I want to move but don't want any dealings with this person. I have been told I can sell without them, they have not contributed a penny. Can you advise me?

Nikki,

I regret that as Mortgage brokers we are not qualified to give legal advice and I recommend that you speak to Citizens Advice or a local solicitor about your situation.
