I own a flat outright valued at £120,000 and at present the rental income amounts to approx £400 net. I'm interested in raising capital of around £50,000. Is this possible and if so..., the best way? many thanx
Looking at the figures provided your rental income would support a loan of £50,000 and because you wish to borrow under 50% of the property value you should have access to some of the best deals in the market.
Your property would have to be valued by a Lender's surveyor and also deemed suitable for letting and the Lender would also want to carry out some personal checks on you before confirming their offer of mortgage.
