Hi I need some help. My mom has got a recent ccj cause she diem.t pay my nans funeral bill for over a year and now she.s got this ccj. I still live at home unfortunatly and i was wondering if her ccj will affect me getting finance etc.. As me and and my gf are looking to move in together but we have to have a credit check. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Your Mother's CCJ should not appear on your credit file unless you have any joint financial credit arrangements, such as a shared credit card, bank account or loan.  I think that it would be a good idea for you to obtain a copy of your credit file now and if it is showing your Mother's CCJ you can take steps to correct your file before you start applying for a mortgage.  You can get a copy of your credit report from one of the major Credit Reference agencies: Experian, Equifax or Callcredit.  The maximum cost to see your statutory report is £2 and you can view it online or get a copy by post.
