Stamp duty decision...good, bad or damn right ugly?

So news reaches us that the government has decided to suspend stamp duty on properties up to £175,000 for one year. Doesn't feel like it will help many to me and really is too little too late. What are your thoughts? Vote on the site www.charcol.co.uk, or post a response.
