Enquiries for remortgaging spiked in October as many mortgage borrowers looked to see if they are currently in the best place.  With constant stories of doom and gloom and the impact of the Consumer Spending Review starting to filter through, consumers want to make sure their mortgage is doing all it can for them, with is encouraging.  For full details of the latest John Charcol Mortgage Index, click here.
