Can I get a mortgage with an IVA?

Hi Katie,

We are in an IVA and have our mortgage with Northern Rock. The APR is so high and they will not consider a lower rate. Is there any way I could get a mortgage with an IVA? My husbands income is £33,000 and mine is £25,000.

The typical APR for bad credit business is 8.5% APR so your pay rate should be less than this depending on your deposit and income etc.
