Can I get a mortgage for a self-build project in Ireland?

Hi, I'm building a house in Ireland and I need to get a mortgage.  I'm renting here from a housing association - would I be able to get one?


Hello Jon,

There would be no reason why renting from a housing association here would restrict you.  There are lots of mortgages for building your own place, although many of them don't cover Ireland. The people to contact are Buildstore who are the self-build experts.
